Event Parking

Please consider parking when you are organising an event. 

• The nearest car park may not always be the most suitable. Consider the Holywell and Multistorey car parks as these often have more capacity than other campus car parks and are both near to the campus shuttle bus route. 
• Please liaise with Security to discuss car park reservations and closures linked to your event. 
• Ensure registration requirements are communicated to all invitees. Parking Charge Notices issued to visitors who have not followed registration procedures will not be cancelled. 

 Will there be visitor parking charges during events? 

The Parking Team are able to manage charging mechanisms for events throughout the year. Large scale events such as open days and graduation will see charging for visitors attending the event suspended. Specific events related to admissions, alumni and sports can be managed using codes for reduced or free of charge parking. Applications for parking codes are to be sent to parking@lboro.ac.uk. It is expected that for other events, visitors will pay the standard visitor rate.
