Mitigating Circumstances
Mitigating Circumstances (MC) are circumstances outside of your control that may negatively impact your academic performance in your assessments.
The University will always look to provide additional support for your circumstances to prevent any impact on your academic performance. These circumstances may include but are not limited to:

- Long-term health condition or disability (physical or mental health)
- Bereavement
- Crime or hate incident (including racism, homophobia and domestic or sexual violence)
