Attendance booking FAQs
Should I wait to find out if I have passed my programme before booking to attend?
No. It is very important that you reply to us before the above deadline. If you are unsure if you wish to attend, please book a place and then advise us should you subsequently change your mind.
I have missed the deadline for replying; what should I do?
Contact Student Records & Operations on +44(0)1509 222491 as soon as possible. If it is still possible to give you a space in the ceremony, we will do so.
I have completed my online reply form but not received a response.
We do not send out confirmation emails before the deadline for replies, so please take a note of the number of guest tickets you have requested. You will be able to log back into the portal to check or amend your details until the date of the booking deadline.
You will receive an e-ticket confirming your attendance and the number of guest tickets you have been allocated a few days before the ceremony.
What happens if I need to change my booking?
If you have changed your mind about attending, deferring or graduating in absentia, need to change the number of guest tickets, or amend any other details, please log back into the MyGraduation portal to make the updates.
If online booking has closed, please email us.
Do I need to inform you if I am not attending my ceremony?
Yes, please let us know so that we can manage ceremony numbers and guest tickets. If online booking is open, please choose the in absentia option in the MyGraduation portal. If you have booked a place but are subsequently unable to attend and online booking has closed, please email us.
You can also make arrangements for your certificate to be posted.
