Microsoft Office 365

Loughborough University offers Office365 as the student email system. In addition to Outlook email, Office 365 provides students with file storage and collaboration tools.

Microsoft Teams or “Teams” as it is known is a communication and collaboration platform that combines chat, video meetings, file storage and collaboration. This can be split into three distinct solutions:

• Teams – groups of users with access to shared resources and collaboration tools
• Teams Meetings – ad-hoc or calendared virtual meetings
• Teams Live Events – broadcast system for large scale non-interactive events
