Microsoft Office 365 ProPlus
All students have free access to the latest Microsoft Office package. This includes Word, Excel, Powerpoint, OneNote and more.

If you currently own Office for Mac 2016 or Office 365 ProPlus for Mac, you must uninstall that software when you sign up for Office 365. You will then download and install Office 365 ProPlus for Mac through the Office 365 for Loughborough University account.
To Install a copy of Microsoft Office 365 ProPlus, please follow the instructions below:
Access
Click and open the above link in a new window and follow the instructions below to install a copy of Microsoft Office 365 ProPlus on your device.
Sign-in to Office 365 for Loughborough University
You may be required to sign in to the IDP
If so, you will need to enter your full email address e.g. j.b.bloggs@student.lboro.ac.uk and then enter your Loughborough password and click on the Sign in button.
Install
Once you have logged in with your Lboro credentials you will be redirected to the Office 365 install page.
Click on the Install button.
Please note that the install is for the full suite of applications, not individual installs.
Run file and follow on-screen prompts
Click on the downloaded file at the bottom of the screen to run the programme.
If a pop-up box appears, select Yes to allow the programme to run.
To complete the full installation of the programme, please follow the remainder of the on-screen prompts.
Sign in with username
If required, please sign in to the IDP
When prompted to sign in/register, you will need to sign in using your Loughborough University email address in the following format: j.b.bloggs@student.lboro.ac.uk followed by your Lboro password.

Instructions to install
We advise that you remove any previous versions of Microsoft Office prior to installing Office 365 ProPlus for Mac.
To check that your computer meets the system requirements for new Office, please visit https://products.office.com/en-us/office-system-requirements .
IMPORTANT: You will be asked for your email address before installing the software AND again to activate it. Please enter your full email address first time, but when activating the software, you MUST enter it in the following format:
username@lunet.lboro.ac.uk
Access
Click and open the above link in a new window and follow the instructions below to install a copy of Microsoft Office 365 ProPlus on your device.
Sign-in to Office 365 for Loughborough University
You will need to enter your full email address e.g. j.b.bloggs@student.lboro.ac.uk and then enter your Loughborough password and click on the Sign in button.

Download Folder
Launch the Microsoft_Office_365_Prolus_Installer.pkg file from your Download Folder.
Run the Office installer
To complete the full installation of the programme, review and accept the License Agreement and wait for the installation to complete.
Installation
When the installation is complete, click Close. Word will open automatically. You may get asked if you wish to allow Word to add information to your confidential keychain. If you do, click 'Always allow'. You will need to do this when you launch each Office 365 ProPlus app for the first time. Click Get Started to continue

Select a theme
Select preferred theme and click Continue.
