Microsoft Office 365 ProPlus
Staff with PCs and Macs on the Managed Desktop Service will already have the latest Microsoft Office software installed.
Staff can also install the current Microsoft Office 365 ProPlus (previously known as Office 2016) software on their personal devices (up to 5 PCs/Macs and Tablets), however, there is no support available.
Access
Click and open the above link in a new window and follow the instructions below to install a copy of Microsoft Office 365 ProPlus on your device.
Sign-in to Office 365 for Loughborough University
You will need to enter your full email address e.g. j.b.bloggs@student.lboro.ac.uk and then enter your Loughborough password and click on the Sign in button
Redirected
Once you have logged in with your Lboro credentials you will be redirected to the Office 365 install page.
Click on the Install button.
Please note that the install is for the full suite of applications, not individual installs.
Run file and follow on-screen prompts
Click on the downloaded file at the bottom of the screen to run the programme.
If a pop-up box appears, select Yes to allow the programme to run.
To complete the full installation of the programme, please follow the remainder of the on-screen prompts.
Sign in with username
When prompted to sign in/register, you will need to sign in using your Loughborough University username in the following format: username@lunet.lboro.ac.uk followed by your Lboro password.
Microsoft Office 365 ProPlus for Mac
If you currently own Microsoft Office 365 ProPlus for Mac (Previoulsy known as Office 2016), you must uninstall that software when you sign up for Office 365. You will then download and install Microsoft Office for Mac 2016 through your Office 365 Loughborough University account

IMPORTANT: You will be asked for your email address before installing the software AND again to activate it. Please enter your full email address first time, but when activating the software, you MUST enter it in the following format:
username@lunet.lboro.ac.uk
Access

Click Install. Depending on your browser settings you may receive a JavaScript prompt. If you do, click Leave Page

Download Folder
Launch the Microsoft_Office_365_ProPlus_Installer.pkg file from your Download Folder.
Run the Office installer
Click Continue to start the install.
To complete the full installation of the programme, review and accept the License Agreement and wait for the installation to complete.
