After my exams
Your online exam work will be marked and moderated (reviewed and checked) in accordance with the standard procedures, taking into account any particular circumstances.
Please note that the marks awarded in Semester 1 will not have all of the Safety Nets (Undergraduate | Postgraduate taught) applied until the exam boards which take place at the end of Semester 2. Therefore, the marks you obtain at the end of Semester 1 are provisional and may be subject to further change.
Marks will then be reviewed again and finalised using the University’s Safety Nets and in consultation with relevant external examiners at the exam boards at the end of the academic year (June/July 2021). Your Semester 1 marks will be released as usual through the MyResults System from Monday 22 to Wednesday 24 February 2021. These dates may be subject to change, but we will advise you as soon as we can if there are likely to be any delays. Generic feedback on students’ performance in the exams will be provided in the standard way.
Will there be a graduation ceremony?
Yes. We want to ensure that every student who has successfully completed their studies will have the opportunity to attend a graduation ceremony. The provisional dates for the ceremonies in the Summer of 2021 are currently 20th to 23rd July 2021. We will keep these dates under review as national guidance in relation to Coronavirus changes. You will be contacted separately once the details of these ceremonies have been confirmed.
How can I get the most out of feedback on your work?
We’ve developed the following resource to help you to understand about the various forms of feedback which you will receive for your work and enable you to act on them to enhance your performance.
