LU Arts can help you get involved in creative workshops, meet students from other cultures and do something new & fun outside of your studies.

We've got an incredible lineup of events and activities tailored just for International students at Loughborough University. Get ready to make new friends, explore your creative side, and immerse yourself in the vibrant arts scene on campus. 

From music and performing arts to creative writing and visual arts, we've got it covered! Our events includes hands-on workshops, evening classes, music tuition, open mic performances, exhibitions and much more. There are also one-off competitions and opportunities to showcase your work and skills.

International Student Art Showcase

LU Arts and LSU International Students' Network have joined forces to empower and highlight the expanse of nationalities at Loughborough University by showcasing their creative talents online.

We have selected ten students work to display, featuring painting, crafts, poetry, photography and more.

Create & Connect (International Students Club)

We are excited to present Create & Connect an 6-week programme designed to connect you with other international students and help you engage in creative activities. 

Sessions run from 7 February to 13 March 2024 (1-3pm every Wednesday). There is no session on 28 Feb.

Location: Collaboration Station, LSU Building 

This is a free programme to pop along to but spaces are limited.

Get involved

Music

Sign up for music tuition and access free music practice rooms seven days a week. Perform at open mic nights or join a student society to stay interested in music.

Discover new hobbies by joining a student society. There's plenty on offer, from all genres of music and dance to drama, sketching, cinema and more.

Book Club

Join our free online Book Club. We meet monthly to discuss a good book and it's a great place to have a chat and meet new people.
