International Student Registration
Once you have completed Online Registration you need to book an appointment to have your registration with the University confirmed. Once you have arrived in the UK, please send us your visa documents via email, using the guidance provided here.
At the appointment you will be asked to produce the original copies of your documents so that these can be viewed by staff, after which you will be issued with your University student ID card.
If you are required to self-isolate for 14 days after entering the UK, you must book an appointment which occurs after your 14 days self-isolation is complete.
Please note if you are a London campus student:
If you are a London student, your registration process is on the London campus registration page. You do not need to travel to the Loughborough campus.
Loughborough campus students:
- The link below will take you to the Student Enquiries Service.
- Student Enquiries is the place for many of your queries whilst you are a student at Loughborough.
- Read through the step-by-step approach, and make your booking via the link in step 3.
Before we can issue your ID card and complete the registration process, the University is required to check you have the right to study in the UK. This will normally involve showing your passport and visa/BRP, or other acceptable documents. If you applied for your Tier 4 or Short Term Study visa outside of the UK, you should also bring your flight details (booking confirmation or boarding card).
To support Social Distancing, the University requires you to send a scan of your passport and, if applicable, your visa via email at least 24 hours before your appointment, so that this can also be held on your student record. We are legally obliged to do this by UK Visas and Immigration.
If you provide personal data in order to book a slot at the registration event, the data collected by Billetto is captured purely for the process of booking your place at the event, and will be deleted once the event is over.
