Instructions to connect your Smart device to the Hallnet Wi-Fi network

1. Locate the MAC address of your smart device. This is normally found under Settings (refer to device instructions).

2. Click to ‘copy’ or alternatively make a note of the address.

3. Next, Go to the Onboarding site (button link below).

4. Select option No 2. Other Devices and log in with your University username and password.

5. At the MAC Registration page, paste or manually add your MAC address and add device Description e.g.‘ Amazon Dot’ and select Register.

6. Make a note of the Pre-Shared Key (PSK) information. This is the password you will need to connect to the ‘hallnet wifi’ network.

7. Return to Settings and Wi-Fi settings

8. Locate and select the 'hallnet wifi' network, and use the Pre-Shared Key (PSK) as the password for this connection.

9. Once connected, use your mobile phone to operate your smart device.
