Loughborough Research Repository

This service supports the deposit and increased visibility of research publications, research data, theses, and other research related outputs (such as code and methods). It also enables researchers to be compliant with their funder and publisher policies.

Research Repository Research Data Management

LUPIN (Loughborough University Publication Information system) is a database of current and historic research outputs published by Loughborough University authors. It integrates fully with the Research Repository, so provides a single entry point for publications information at the University.

Online Surveys (formally BOS)

The Bristol Online Survey (BOS) lets you design, run and analyse questionnaires over the web. It is hosted and run by ILRT at the University of Bristol, and was developed to run the Careers in Research Online Survey benchmarking project across UK HE in 2001. BOS is now used by over 300 organisations, and Loughborough University has an annually-renewed campus-wide license.

LEON (Ethics)

All staff & students who are conducting research studies involving human participants are required to submit an ethical approval submission and, depending on the nature of the study, receive sign off at either School or Human Participant Sub-Committee (HPSC) level, or requires external NHS REC approval. Currently this is a paper-based process which compromises our ability to effectively collect, monitor, process, store and report the data.

The Ethics RM system allows staff and students to submit an ethical approval submission electronically. Depending on the questions answered, it sends the form to the appropriate committee for review and sign-off if required.
