WHY DOES THE WORK NEEED TO BE DONE
ALTIUS c/o APCOA will be installing a new exit barrier will be installed on the LSU side of the swimming pool car park. This forms part of the planned reconfiguration of the area to support all‑day parking for Staff. The new barrier will operate as exit‑only, meaning that all vehicles must enter the car park via the main route past the security gatehouse and around the rear of the Students’ Union building.
This change is being introduced to ensure that only bona fide University staff and visitors can access and use the car park.
Timescale
The installs will be taking place on Wednesday 8 April between 8.00 am and 5.00 pm
