How to apply as an International Pathway (ONCampus) Student

As an International Pathway (ONCAMPUS) student starting in January 2024, you will be able to apply for your hall accommodation from Thursday 9 November 2023 using our online preference system.

Once you have paid your course deposit, you will be able to select between three and five preferences for your accommodation and submit your application. This will be reviewed by our accommodation team and an offer sent out to you.

All accommodation contracts will commence from Sunday 4 February 2024.

The application process

Once you have paid your course deposit, you will receive an email from the Student Accommodation Centre within three working days to advise you when and how to apply. Please add sac@lboro.ac.uk to your contacts to ensure you receive our emails.

You can only apply for accommodation once you have paid your deposit and received an invitation from our Student Accommodation Centre. If you need advice on how to do this, please contact your ONCAMPUS representative or visit ONCAMPUS Loughborough.

Step 1 - Research

Please take a look at our halls to familiarise yourself with the different accommodation options available to you. If you will be under 18 at the time of entry, we strongly recommend you consider our catered hall options.

It is also important to read the occupancy Licence Terms and Conditions before you proceed.

Step 2 - Registration

The accommodation system requires you to register an account before you can log in for the first time. You will receive an email from sac@lboro.ac.uk shortly after you pay your course deposit titled “Loughborough University accommodation application information 2023-24.” This email contains a 6 digit number beginning with ‘3’, use this as your Student ID for registering on the Accommodation Hub.

You will also need to create your own username and password to access the accommodation login - please do not use a school/college email address as these may become inactive in the future.

Step 3 – Application

Once you have registered your account you will be able to log in to the Accommodation Hub and select accommodation preferences online.

You will be able to select up to five hall preferences which will be used as a guide when looking to allocate you a room, but we cannot guarantee that you will be offered one of your preferred rooms. Accommodation is allocated based on availability and the preferences you select.

Once we have allocated you a room, you will receive an email confirming your offer. Offers are subject to availability.

Please make sure you check the email address you used on your accommodation application so you do not miss out on your accommodation offer.

You will have five days from when the offer is made to accept your contract.

Step 4 – Accommodation Contract

In order to accept the contract online, you will be required to enter your accommodation username and password. You will be entering into a legally binding agreement with the University, your landlord.

Prior to arrival, we will contact you to complete our online Living in Halls induction and book an arrival slot.

Please contact the Student Accommodation Centre if you experience problems applying for your accommodation.

Step 5 - Confirmation and payment

Once you receive an email titled ‘Offer of accommodation accepted’ from sac@lboro.ac.uk you have successfully reserved your room. You can then check your licence details and room type on the  Accommodation Hub.

We will confirm your room number shortly before you arrive.

Your first accommodation payment is required on arrival to your accommodation in February 2024. You will be contacted with further details about the amount required and how to make payment.

If you have accepted your contract and wish to make an early payment for your accommodation, you can do so by visiting the Student Fee Payments webpage. Please enter your Student ID as it appears on your Accommodation Hub homepage (this will start with an F) and ensure that the amount you enter to pay matches your accommodation contract.
