International Pathway (ONCAMPUS) Students

Information about the campus-based accommodation options for ONCAMPUS students on international pathway programmes. Find all the options available to you and how to register.

We understand that it is really important to have a safe space of your own to study and to feel at home.

That's why all our accommodation that is available to you is based on our beautiful campus right in the middle of everything the University and ONCAMPUS Loughborough have to offer, right next to both your pathway classes and the facilities and buildings you will use on your progression course.

About our accommodation

There are a wide choice of accommodation options available. These are called our halls of residence, or halls. You can choose either a catered hall where meals are provided for you, or a self-catered hall where you can cook meals for yourself.

Catered halls provide either two or three meals per day and then you can cater for yourself at the weekend. If you prefer to always cook for yourself, you may want to consider a self-catered hall.

Whichever option you choose, you will be in a safe, secure and friendly environment, making friends with fellow students and beginning your own Loughborough experience.

Hall options

The catered and self-catered hall options below are the only halls that International Pathway (ONCAMPUS) students can choose from. Please note that halls are subject to availability as there are limited spaces in each hall.

The halls detailed below are for January 2024 entry students. All contracts are for 32 week lets.

Please note that the start date for your course is Monday 29 January 2024. You will be permitted to move into your accommodation on Sunday 4 February 2024.

For the period between Monday 29 January 2024 and Sunday 4 February 2024, you will need to book alternative accommodation in either our University Lodge short-stay accommodation block or an alternative local hotel. Below are some options you could explore:

  • University Lodge (this is the recommended option for under 18 students)
  • The Link (please note, there are no available rooms on Tuesday 30 January, bookings can be made for Monday 29 June as a single night booking and Wednesday 31 January to Sunday 4 February as a multi-night booking)
  • Burleigh Court
  • Travelodge
  • Premier Inn

No, we do not require a deposit payment prior to you moving into your accommodation. Once you have accepted your contract, your room is secured and you will be liable for all licence fees in accordance with our Terms and Conditions. Further information on payment can be found on the how to apply page.

Will I be guaranteed accommodation when I transition onto a Loughborough University course?

If you are an international fee-paying student, we will guarantee you accommodation in our halls of residence for two years of study. This guarantee will cover your first year as an ONCAMPUS student and then your first year as a Loughborough University student.
