Peace Proscovia

I am Peace Proscovia from Uganda. Having graduated from Uganda Christian University with a good degree and Excellence in Sports, Loughborough University offered me a sports scholarship to study MSc Marketing.  I am among the first students from Africa to play the England netball super league for the Loughborough Lightning squad

Having the desire to study at one of the best universities in the United Kingdom with excellence in academics and sports, I decided that Loughborough University was the University for me to join.

Loughborough is one of the top 10 universities in the United Kingdom with a very good reputation, and so many elite athletes have excelled in academics and sports from Loughborough University.

Its location away from the city also attracted me because that alone provides me with an ideal environment to study.

Loughborough University is a peaceful and very friendly place to be in with very hospitable people who live like a family. Its location away from the city, provides a calm and secure environment to study ideal for a student who wants to shine.

There are also various social events that take place in the university, allowing you to socialize with various people and get to learn more about other cultures. With these social events you will never be alone and they are great for making friends.

Loughborough University has highly developed facilities with experienced staff. This makes you enjoy every second you spend at the university because you can interact  and learn a lot from them.

In addition to that, Loughborough has fifty four active sports activities running throughout the year meaning that it’s a very lively place to be in.
