Student Recruitment Marketing
The Student Recruitment Marketing team lead the planning, implementation and evaluation of top-level recruitment marketing campaigns across all levels of study.
Using the latest market intelligence and customer insights, the team produces and manages the University’s central recruitment activities to attract and convert applications in line with top-level recruitment targets.
Utilising a range of digital applications and services including the web, social media and the SCRM, we devise and develop targeted communication plans to engage and convert prospective students. The team works collaboratively with school marketing teams to ensure consistency in messaging across all central and school-led recruitment activity, and aims to provide a seamless customer experience from the moment of enquiry through to enrolment.
Online marketing
We are responsible for the University's main recruitment content online, including the UG and PG online prospectuses and top-level content for campaigns such as clearing, open days and conversion.
Together with the Web and Digital team, we organise and deliver paid media targeting and remarketing campaigns to promote the University to prospective students. We also manage the promotion of the University through external profile sites such as WhatUni and the Complete University Guide.
Print marketing
We manage a number of printed publications for prospective students, including:
- Undergraduate printed prospectus and mini guide
- Postgraduate printed prospectus
- Guide to Loughborough
- Open Day collateral
- Print media/out of home recruitment advertising
SCRM
We manage the SCRM system which is used to track interactions and communicate with prospective students. We oversee outgoing communications to prospective students, as well as the data capture and reporting functionality provided by the SCRM.
