Lboro_IoT

Lboro_IoT (Internet of Things) is a Wi-Fi network available for research and teaching purposes for connecting devices that cannot connect to the eduroam wireless network, e.g., Robots, 3D printers, single-board computers, etc.

The network is not available for personal devices which should be connected to eduroam.

To connect devices to lboro_IoT the wireless MAC address needs to be registered, whereupon a PSK will be provided for the device/devices.

To register devices a service desk case must be opened by emailing it.services@lboro.ac.uk.

The following information must be provided:

• The wireless MAC address of the devices
• A description of the devices
• The intended use of the devices
