File Storage and Sharing
Workspaces - Introduction
General file storage and sharing is split into three options; OneDrive for Business, Group Workspace and Office 365 Groups. All options allow you to store your work documents in a safe place which is regularly backed up.
OneDrive for Business is the main storage solutions for the University and you can work at your desk using the Windows services, and your documents will be available from any computer lab on campus.
Other ways to connect:
Office 365 Groups and Group Workspaces are created upon request. These option allows for groups of staff or groups of staff and students to have access for sharing of work or study related files by people with a shared interest.
Research groups could have their own Office 365 Groups or Group workspaces, and groups of students working on a project may, with the agreement of their academic department, be given a Group workspace (Office 365 Groups are not yet available to undergraduate students).
