Action required before Friday, 31 October
IT Services are carrying out the final phase of the Windows 11 upgrade on University-owned devices. Devices that remain on the Windows 10 service without a valid exemption pose a security risk to University systems and data.
Windows 10 will no longer be an operating system with full support by Microsoft or the University, from the 1 November 2025. Any Staff member or Doctoral Researcher still using a Windows 10 computer must complete the forms below before the 31 October to prevent any disruption to service.
Once you have completed the appropriate form, IT Services will be in touch to make arrangements. You can continue to use your Windows 10 device. Contact regarding next steps may take place after 31 October.
