Prepaid Hall Meal Saver

Prepaid Catered Hall Meal Saver is a pre-purchase discounted meal scheme for students, staff and tenants which enables blocks of meals to be purchased at the published preferential rate.

Funds will be uploaded into a purse on a smartphone device app or website browser.

The value is used to buy a block of 10 meals which gives you a 1 extra free meal voucher per 10 meals purchased.

Prepaid Catered Hall Meal Saver can only be used in the following Dining Halls:

Cayley

Rutherford

Faraday

Royce

Village Restaurant

David Collett

Towers

The hours of operation are posted locally and only open in term time.

• All transactions must be done in person by the registered account holder.
• Prepaid Catered Hall Meal Saver funds are only valid during the issuing academic year in term time only, any remaining funds will be cancelled at the end of June.
• The Reward Club App must be presented by the registered ID holder for all transactions.
• Funds and vouchers are not transferrable and can only be used by the registered ID holder.
• Campus Services staff reserve the right to refuse the right to accept payment of funds from the Rewards Club App if you cannot prove you’re the registered holder or any wrongdoing is suspected.
• If you change your mind and have not used any of the purse or vouchers you are entitled to a full refund. As long as its within 14 days of purchase, all refunds are issued through the payment portal. Once any part of the purse or voucher has been used in a catered hall no refunds can be issued except in exceptional circumstances.
• There is no maximum limit on the number of Prepaid Catered Hall Meal Saver funds you can hold within the app.
• Termination from the Hall Meal Saver can be arranged by deactivating your account within the website / App. No refunds will be issued if you leave the scheme with a positive balance or have vouchers remaining unless in exceptional circumstances. 
• Funds hold no monetary value and cannot be exchanged for money.
• Every £5.95 in the Prepaid Catered Hall Meal Saver purse/1 free hall meal voucher is equivalent to 1 catered hall meal entitlement as standard:
  One Protein item or Sandwich or Baguette, Self-Serve Potatoes, Vegetables and Salad Bar, Dessert or Yoghurt, One Piece of Fresh Fruit, All meals have unlimited Tea, Coffee and Squash.
• The University accepts no liability if it is unable to accept identification of the QR code from the Rewards Club App for the redemption of catered hall purse or voucher due to technical difficulties.
