Description of the Works
- To secure the site, a 2m radius safety fence will be installed around each hydrant, providing the necessary clearance for excavation.
- All waste from the digging will stay in the compound
- On 31 March, our team will turn off the water to the three hydrants.
- We will then swap out the old hydrants for new ones.
- Once finished, we will turn the water back on and test everything.
- We will then clean up and fix the ground as soon as the job is completed.
Timescale
Week commencing 23 March 2026 – Excavate all three locations

31 March 2026 – All three fire Hydrants will be replaced
1 April 2026 – Reinstatement will be started
