We offer double occupancy flats and self-contained houses suitable for postgraduate students or doctoral researchers with families.
Postgraduate family flats
Ten two-bedroom self-contained flats in Harry French hall of residence are reserved for postgraduate families. They are suitable for singles/couples with 1 – 2 small children on a 50 week let. They are fully furnished, inclusive of bills (gas, electricity and water charges) and University HallNet. Limited parking is available, and the site patrolled by University Security.
Harry French hall is located on Ashby Road, conveniently situated within a few minutes’ walk to both town and campus. The hall is occupied by both Undergraduate and Postgraduate students. The family flats are located in Tynte and Iffley houses.
Rates
£244.52 per week, inclusive of all bills. Payable in 3 x termly instalments or monthly by arrangement with the Finance department.

Postgraduate family houses
We have limited 3 and 4 bed houses located very close to the University which are suitable for postgraduate students or doctoral researchers with children.
Tenancies are normally offered on a 6 to 12 months let.
All accommodation is non-smoking and basically furnished with:
- Kitchen/diner
- Lounge
- 2 or 3 bedrooms
- Bathroom with bath and shower
- Basic kitchen utensils can be provided
- Internet access
A welcome folder is in each house for information on the services and University facilities.
Rates
£1150 - £1250 per month including utilities and excluding council tax.
