Water Engineering and Development Centre

Technical support

WEDC has an in-house staff resource of sixteen expert academic staff who cover a wide range of disciplines related to the sustainable delivery of water and sanitation related services in low and middle income countries and fragile states. WEDC staff have extensive field based practical experience, coupled with current theoretical approaches. They are readily able to understand the challenges that may be faced in resource constrained contexts and working environments. Their skills are kept up to date through review and development of content for the annual WEDC International conference, participation in other sector events, as well as ongoing research and advisory work.

We regularly provide technical support services to a variety of clients and projects through both desk based work or short term in country visits.

If you would like to find out more about WEDC’s work is this area, please contact Anne Blenkinsopp or Kevin Sansom.
