The following 2 week courses are delivered at WEDC for MSF staff each year, in conjunction with MSF:

  • Water, Hygiene and Sanitation for Health (an introductory course run twice a year)
  • Strategic approaches to Water, Hygiene and Sanitation

The course aim is: ‘to contribute to MSF’s strengthening of a cadre of water, hygiene and sanitation personnel who are able to interpret policy and successfully promote and implement MSF WHS strategies and actions across the full range of MSF-type situations; resulting in reduced WHS related mortality and morbidity’. These courses cover a full range of WASH related topics and are an important part of the continuing professional development of MSF staff engaged on WASH activities around the world.
