At Loughborough, we're committed to helping you develop your employability and grounding your educational experience with examples from the real world so you’re ready to achieve your career ambitions. That commitment extends far beyond the classroom. Here are just some of the opporunities you can take advantage of as a postgraduate student here.
Careers Fairs and Employer Presentations
Loughborough University organises three massive recruitment careers fairs each year for all students. The Autumn fair is the largest of its kind in the UK, hosting approximately 200 employers who exhibit. Students have the opportunity to network with some of the UK’s leading employers including Aldi, GE, Microsoft, Caterpillar, Apple, Marks & Spencer and Decathlon.
During the Autumn and Spring terms, employers and organisations from all employment sectors come onto campus to present information about their company to students at Loughborough University. Employers who have visited recently include Nestle, Aldi, EY, Royal Navy and 3M.
Masterclasses and Public Lectures from Industry Speakers
All our postgraduate students have the opportunity to attend an impressive range of extra-curricular masterclasses and public lectures – all free of charge and right here on campus.
These talks are a great way to broaden your horizons with a wide range of business-related topics covered by speakers from the Bank of England, Shazam, Shell and Dell just to name a few.
We organise a range of Masterclasses and public events throughout the year on a range of topics.
