10 February - 10 March 2026
12-2pm weekdays only
Martin Hall Exhibition Space

LGBT+ History Month highlights the achievements and contributions of LGBTQ+ people throughout history and across all areas of life. The national theme for 2026 is Science and Innovation, which has influenced the title of this year's exhibition, inviting creative, reflective, and diverse responses.

There will be a launch event and a supporting quilting workshop, with the possibility of further events/guest lectures to accompany the exhibition.

What can you submit?

We welcome submissions in all forms of visual art, performance, photography, design, writing, digital media, or other creative expressions. Submissions should explore identity, community, and LGBTQ+ experiences, loosely in connection with the theme of LGBTQ+ history month for 2026.

If you would like to take part, please submit a short 150–200-word description and an accompanying image (if possible), outlining your proposed contribution.
