At Loughborough University, with our long heritage and unrivalled reputation for sport, we understand the mindset needed to go from being a high achiever to an elite performer.
If you are professional with at least three years’ professional/managerial experience, our AMBA-accredited Full-Time MBA can take you on a transformational experience that will enable you to fulfil your potential and realise your professional ambitions.
Take your career to the next level
- one-year Full-Time MBA pathway: for maximum career-acceleration
- two-year Full-Time MBA with Internship pathway: take the opportunity to impress potential employers with the experience you gain on a 45- to 52-week professional internship.
We support you in developing the intellectual, analytical, personal and enterprise knowledge, skills and behaviours to become an effective, globally-minded, socially responsible leader. The Loughborough MBA equips you with a robust grounding in how to manage complex organisational issues, devise creative solutions to real business challenges, get the most out of a team and how to lead and manage change in demanding, global markets.
Should you wish to opt for the two-year pathway with a 45- to 52-week professional internship in your second year, you have the opportunity to:
- gain valuable UK work experience and maximise your post-MBA earning potential through a supervised work internship (non-UK internships may be permitted)
- apply what you have learnt to a live commercial environment
- extend the time you have to search for post-MBA employment.
It may even result in a direct route to employment with your internship company.
Whichever pathway you choose, by learning alongside an international cohort of experienced managers, you will be able to share fresh perspectives on similar problems and build lasting business networks. You will also have opportunities to meet and learn alongside our highly experienced Executive MBA students on some modules.
Applying for your visa
If you are certain you wish to opt for the one-year MBA degree, you will need to register for this programme and apply for the appropriate visa (if required). If you later decide to add an internship, you will need to extend your visa to cover the extra time required before any placement commences.
If you wish to opt for the internship pathway, you will need to register on the two-year MBA and apply for the appropriate visa (if required). If you later decide not to undertake an internship, or do not secure one, you can transfer to the one-year programme.
