Postgraduate students can reserve accommodation from February, including those holding a conditional offer, in selected halls offering 50-week contracts. This option is available until 1 August 2026.
After 1 August, rooms can only be reserved once your offer is unconditional.
Accommodation offers may be revoked from students who have not met the conditions of their offer / confirmed their academic place by 1 August.
If you are starting your postgraduate course in October 2026 and would like to apply for our halls of residence, we’ll guide you through each step.

2026/27 Postgraduate Accommodation
Step one - Register and explore postgraduate accommodation options

From mid-February, you can register on the Accommodation Hub. Once registered, you'll receive confirmation and can reserve from the live list of available accommodation.
Step two - Reserve your accommodation
Postgraduate students can reserve accommodation from mid-February. Applicants with a conditional offer can reserve rooms in selected 50-week postgraduate halls until early August. After this, an unconditional offer is required.
When you select a room, it will be held for 15 minutes while you complete your reservation. If you don't complete it within this time, the room will be released.
Step three - Agree your accommodation contract
Once you have reserved a room online, you will have 3 days to review and accept the offer.
You'll need the username and password you created when registering to accept your accommodation contract online.
By accepting the contract, you are entering into a legally binding agreement with Loughborough University, your landlord. You'll receive confirmation by email using the address provided in your University application.
After accepting your contract, you must:
- Accept the terms and conditions and accommodation contract.
- Complete your online induction.
- Book your arrival slot, available from late August.

All campus accommodation at Loughborough is single occupancy only.
