Once you have completed your registration with the University you can download a range of letters confirming your attendance and student status from Student Self-Service.

How do I obtain a Certificate of Registration?
You can generate a range of letters yourself, including a Certificate of Registration from the Student Self-Service portal. If you have attempted to generate your own letter and have come across an issue, please contact Student Enquiries.
What do I need to do about Council Tax?

I need proof of my UK address in order to open a bank account...
You can generate a range of letters yourself, including a Bank Letter from the Student Self-Service portal. A Bank Letter is sufficient proof of your UK address and can therefore be used for multiple purposes.

Can I obtain an Award Letter which states the qualification I have obtained?
You can generate a range of letters yourself, including an Award Letter from the Student Self-Service Portal.

I need a non-standard letter that can't be generated via the Self-Service portal...
If you require a non-standard letter which cannot be generated via the Student Self-Service Portal, please contact the Doctoral College Office, providing as much relevant information as possible including your full name, Student Registration Number and the information you require us to provide.
