Trusts and Foundations

Trusts and Foundations provide charitable grant funding similar to Research Council funders, except the money and intention is philanthropic in nature. This provides a greater degree of flexibility for the grant holder and means producing an application that resonates with a broad spectrum of readers. The Trust and Foundations lead in the Philanthropy team can work with you in identifying a potential funder(s) if the project has applicability, help you to put together an application, as well as manage the relationship with a funder. Projects can range from PhD’s with practical outcomes, to more on-the-ground programmes and initiatives. Please get in touch with the Team or giving@lboro.ac.uk to discuss charitable grants as an option for your project.
