Contractors

Information for University contractors

Loughborough University has two campuses and the Loughborough campus is over 500 acres with more than 20,000 users.  The manner in which works are undertaken and the standards to be used are therefore a key requirement for contractors working on site.

All contractors working on site are required to be inducted whether directly or indirectly through a principal contractor before commencing any activities. The induction provides essential information on site rules, safety procedures, emergency arrangements, and operational expectations. No work may begin until the induction has been completed and appropriate passes and permits issued.

The contractors Health and Safety Handbook, online Health and Safety Induction and further Helpful information videos can be found via the following link.
