Description of the Works
The proposed work is the pollarding of the 3 identified willows (removal of growth material) (see attached picture).
Footpath closures:
Willow 1 - market stall closure from - ///quite, wing, lies to ///rods, actors, short
Willow 2 - closure from - ///mirror, scam, host to ///apples, dared, civic
Willow 3 closure from - ///caller, origin, lace - ///burst, sting, laptop - ///second, loft, filer
Timescale
The work is planned from Monday 23 February to Friday 27 February 2026 - 8.00 a.m. - 3.30 p.m.
Willow 1 - Monday 23 - Tuesday 24 February
Willow 2 - Wednesday 25 - Thursday 26 February
Willow 3 - (village bar willow) - Friday 27 February
With only the closures for a single tree being active at one time - NOT ALL AT ONCE
