Description of the Works
The entrance foyer of the Edward Barnsley Building will undergo a complete refurbishment during the summer shutdown.
The project includes:
Expanding the existing foyer to create a large, open-plan space.
Providing an area for students to display their work.
Creating a stronger connection between the reception area and the newly established dye garden.
Reorganising and refurbishing the first and second floor toilet facilities to provide new universal toilets.
The works will be carried out by Beacon Commercial Solutions Limited.
Please note that, due to additional works being undertaken at the Cope Auditorium, the Edward Barnsley Building will be closed to staff and students for the duration of the project.
Timescale
The works will start on 13th July for approximately eight weeks. Working hours are from 0800 to 1700.
