Description of the works
The current water main in this area is old and becoming brittle. The plan is to replace this pipe with new from a valve on University Road, adjacent to the accessible parking spaces, through the arch way, through to David Collett Dining Hall. At all times, all emergency exits will be maintained and escape routes will be created. The excavation areas will be cordoned off.
Timescale
The work starts on 7 July through to 27 July 2025.
