Description of the Works
Please be advised that a campuswide drone survey will be undertaken in the coming weeks as part of our ongoing efforts to enhance the University's long-term maintenance strategy.
The purpose of the survey is to capture detailed aerial imagery of campus buildings and infrastructure to support asset recording and inform future planning for building repairs and upkeep. This initiative is aimed at refining our preventative maintenance approach and ensuring a more efficient and data-driven allocation of resources.
The survey will be carried out by a third-party contractor operating under the direction and supervision of the Estates & Facilities Management (E&FM) team. All necessary permissions and safety protocols will be strictly observed throughout the process.
We appreciate your cooperation during this time and will ensure any disruption will be kept to a minimum.
Timescale
The works will start on 23rd June 2025 until 23rd July 2025. Survey flights will typically take place during normal working hours on weekdays. However, please be aware that occasional evening or weekend flights may be required to accommodate specific operational or environmental conditions.
