Description of the Works
The work is to redecorate the external elevation of the Hazlerigg & Rutland Buildings.
The work will be undertaken from outside principally using mobile access platforms, but there will be some scaffolding to the rear elevation to reach some of the higher parts of the building.
There may be occasions when access to certain entrances will be restricted because contractors are working in close proximity, alternative access to the building should be sought during these phases. Furthermore, some areas of parking next to the building will be periodically restricted to allow the works to progress.
The works are being carried out from mobile access platforms and traffic management will be in place to protect staff and the operatives.
The contractors will also be using three car parking spaces in Car Park 8 for their site storage and welfare facilities.
Timescale
The work will commence on Monday 20 May 2024 and will take approximately 6 weeks to complete, albeit this may change depending upon the weather.
