You have the option of living on campus in one of our halls of residence or off campus in private rented accommodation during your pre-sessional course. For details on our pre-sessional courses, please visit our Academic Language Support Service website.

There are several pre-sessional courses which vary in duration. Once you know which one you are on we can help you secure accommodation. 

Accommodation for the duration of Pre-sessional Courses C and D is available on campus in Telford hall.

How to book

Accommodation is not included in the course tuition fee. In order to book on-campus accommodation, you will need to apply online (available soon).

Upon completion of your application, you will receive a confirmation email.  Within 7 days, you will be sent confirmation of a room in Telford via email with further details on how to accept the offer and make your payment for accommodation.

Payment

In order to confirm your accommodation offer, you will need to pay for the accommodation. Further information will be provided with your offer.

Campus based Course C - Tuesday 4 July to Friday 22 September 2023 = £2,297.00

Campus based Course D - Tuesday 1 August to Friday 15 September 2023 = £1,128.50

Campus based Course D (with accommodation extension) - Tuesday 1 August to Friday 22 September 2023 = £1,486.00 

Your accommodation must be booked prior to one week of the start of your course. (If you miss this date please telephone us on 01509 274488 to check availability). 

Course D (1 August - 15 September 2023) 

Early arrival accommodation required for Course D can be booked in Telford hall between 25 July - 1 August 2023

Food in our Dining halls will be included:
Friday & Monday - breakfast, lunch & evening meal included (no food provided Saturday and Sunday)

Daily Rate:
Monday - Friday

£35 bed, breakfast & evening meal

£30 if arriving after 18:15 (no evening meal)

£25 if arriving after 18:15 on Friday (no evening meal or breakfast)

Saturday - Sunday

£25 (no food provision)

Payment

Once you have arrived, early arrival charges will be added to your University student finance account which can be paid after arrival.

Please show your early arrival confirmation email when collecting your keys at the Whitworth reception.
