Industry Experience Projects

Put theory into practice and gain real-world experience through our Industry Experience Project module

Many of our postgraduate programmes offer you the opportunity to engage with authentic organisational challenges through consulting or business projects, like our Industry Experience Project module, helping you to apply your learning in a real-world context.

As part of our commitment to helping students gain real-world experience and put theory into practice, we have introduced an 'Industry Experience Project' module to many master's programmes at Loughborough Business School. This module, which takes place during the summer semester of your master's degree, offers you the chance to apply what you've learned in the classroom to a live challenge supplied by an organisation as part of a group project. You'll build critical skills, learn how to communicate and plan effectively as a group, and build your CV with demonstrable real-world experience.

In a competitive graduate jobs market, the Industry Experience Project is your opportunity to enhance your employability with the practical knowledge and skills to stand out from the crowd. Each project is structured to maximise networking opportunities and build confidence, helping you make purposeful progress towards achieving your career goals.

Hear from Professor Ken Lee (Director of Postgraduate Taught Programmes) about how you can benefit from engaging in an Industry Experience Project.
