IAS Friends and Fellows Coffee Morning

On Wednesday 13th March we will be hosting an IAS Friends and Fellows Coffee Morning, where we will be joined by Open Programme Fellows Dr Yoel Asseraf & Professor Kalanit Efrat. Both are hosted by Professor Anne Souchon from the Loughborough Business School.

Dr Yoel Asseraf (Ruppin Academic Center)

Dr Yoel Asseraf (PhD 2014,University of Haifa) is the Head of MBA (Chair) and senior lecturer at the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration, Ruppin Academic Center. In addition, Dr. Asseraf is a research fellow in Haifa University.

Prior to his current appointment he served as the CEO and VP Marketing of several business in Israel and USA. Dr. Asseraf’s research interests focuses on the intersection of strategy and international marketing. Much of his work has been published in high impact academic journals such as the International Marketing Review, International Business Review, European Journal of Marketing, Journal of Business-to-Business Marketing and the Journal of Destination Marketing and Management. In addition to serving as a guest reviewer for top journals such as the Journal of International Marketing and International Marketing Review, Dr. Asseraf currently serves as a member on the editorial boards at the Journal of Global Marketing and the International Journal of Emerging Markets.

Professor Kalanit Efrat (University of Agder)

Kalanit Efrat is a Professor at the School of Business and Law at the University of Agder. She earned her Ph.D. at the School of Management at the University of Haifa (Israel).

Her research hub is comprised of the following subjects: Born Globals, Crowdfunding, Competitive Intelligence, Coopetition. The common ground is International and Marketing Strategy. Her papers are published in journals such as the Journal of Business Research, Technovation, International Business Review, and International Marketing Review. She serves on the Editorial Review Board of Journal of Global Marketing and she is a reviewer for European Journal of Marketing, International Business Review and International Marketing Review. She is a frequent speaker at international conferences. She teaches at the BA, MA, MBA and Executive MBA levels. She supervised a Ph.D. at the Loughborough University in England (as part of a supervising team) and also at the University of Haifa in Israel.
