IAS House

The IAS House is a three-bedroom semi-detached house located immediately off campus - Google Maps Link. This is only a short walk from International House where the IAS is based. 

IAS House amenities - 

• 3 Bedrooms
  • One with double bed, study desk, wardrobe and hairdryer.
  • One with single bed, cot, and cupboard space.
  • One smaller box room with a single bed only, suitable if children are staying with the Fellow.
• bed linen is provided and laundered by housekeeping staff. 
• Bathroom with toilet, sink, shower over the bath, towels are provided and also laundered.
• Small utility cupboard with iron & ironing board, indoor airer.
• Living room with a sofa, chairs, smart TV and DAB radio. Free Wi-Fi (Virgin Media - 40 MB) is also available.
• Rear door opens out to a large garden, maintained by campus Facilities Management. An outdoor airer in present the garden.
• Kitchen/diner with sink, oven/hob, toaster, kettle, fridge/freezer, washing machine, microwave and dining table with four chairs. Crockery & cutlery is provided.

Check into the house is after 3pm and check out is before 10am. (Flexibility is possible if your check in or out day is a weekend.)

We will provide a 'shopping essentials' package for your arrival, including milk, bread, butter, cereal, tea, coffee, juice and fruit. Please let us know if you have any dietary requirements in order to best tailor this package to your needs.

There is a small supermarket on campus within walking distance for most other basic items - Student's Union Co-op
