At Cayley you will find:

Bedrooms

  • 9-12 students share a kitchenette (number sharing facilities is higher in the larger blocks)
  • 3 storey blocks - 14-15 students share small kitchenette (supplied with a kettle, toaster, combi microwave, fridge-freezer and induction hob.)
  • New blocks - full kitchen facilities (supplied with a microwave, fridge-freezer, toaster, kettle, cooker with oven/grill incorporated.)
  • Standard (wash hand basin) rooms: 2-8 students share bathroom facilities
  • Standard (4ft bed): 5-7 students share bathroom facilities (new blocks)
  • Shared en-suite: 2 students share adjacent bathroom
  • En-suite rooms

All rooms offered on a 41 week let (plus additional fee for fresher week).

  • £7,499.96 (£179.18 per week) - Standard (86 beds)
  • £9,019.38 (£215.48 per week) - Standard, 4ft bed (132 beds)
  • £9,302.75 (£222.25 per week) - Shared en-suite (24 beds)
  • £9,621.28 (£229.86 per week) - En-suite (87 beds)

All fees above include utilities, wired and wireless network, housekeeping service, out of hours Warden Service, Endsleigh insurance policy cover and hall activities.

Please note: If you are a returning student to halls, you will have a 41 week let contract, but only be charged for 39 weeks, meaning you get to enjoy two weeks in halls for free.

Hall committee

The Student Hall Committee are on hand to offer support to the hall community. The committees are elected annually and are run by students for students.

All halls have their own Facebook page and all new students moving into this hall will be invited to join. 

Move out dates for 2023/24: For all undergraduate students currently living in Cayley during the 23/24 academic year, your let length will end on 29 June 2024 and you will need to move out by 10am on 29 June 2024.
