Benefits of sharing a bathroom
At Loughborough University, our en-suite rooms are very popular and get booked up quickly. Because of this, you may want to consider the benefits of sharing bathroom facilities
Clean, convenient, and a great way to meet people
En-suite rooms are popular, but shared bathrooms offer a great all-round experience. Alongside being more cost-effective, they come with regular cleaning, included essentials, and a more social way of settling into hall life.
- Bathrooms are cleaned at least three times a week by our housekeeping team, keeping them consistently clean and well looked after (in Unite halls, bathrooms are cleaned once a week).
- Toilet roll and soap are regularly topped up, so there’s less to buy and keep track of.
- You won’t usually need to queue, as students have different timetables and daily routines.
- Sharing facilities helps you get to know your flatmates naturally and feel part of the hall community.
