Accommodation disability support for Undergraduate firm offer holders
We recommend that Undergraduate firm choice offer holders let us know about their physical or mental health conditions as soon as possible.
The earlier you apply, the more likely we cater to all of your accommodation preferences in addition to your disability requirements.
You do not need to have your place at Loughborough University confirmed before applying for accommodation as a student with a disability.
The process of securing disability adjustments in your accommodation varies slightly depending on how early you notify us of your disability requirements. Choose the option that applies to you.
Advance accommodation booking
Important: You must complete all actions by 13 July at 05:00 BST
Undergraduate firm choice offer holders with any physical or mental health conditions can apply for their accommodation early with our advance booking option. You do not need to have your place at Loughborough University confirmed yet.
To qualify for advance booking, please follow our simple step-by-step guide to tell us about your needs and register for accommodation before 13 July at 05:00 BST.
Step one - Tell us about your needs
Complete the Disability and Health Portal to provide us with information about any physical or long-term mental health conditions you have and upload the required evidence. This will be assessed by our Student Wellbeing and Inclusivity team.
We will consider your room requirements, and your preferences, when looking at room allocation.
It is important that you complete the Disability and Health portal as soon as possible for us to best cater for your needs.
Step two - Register
Register an account on the Accommodation Hub. Our online reservation system will guide you through the short registration process. You will receive a confirmation email when you have registered your account.
Step three - Accept your accommodation offer
The accommodation team will contact you shortly with an accommodation offer of a room we believe meets your disability related requirements, and your personal preferences. You will be contacted by 23 July at the latest.
You will then need to log in to the Accommodation Hub to accept this offer within 3 days. By accepting the contract, you will be entering into a legally binding agreement with the University - your landlord.
If you secure a room with us through Advance booking and do not attend Loughborough University, we will automatically cancel your accommodation contact. You will not be charged a cancellation fee and you will not have to take any action to cancel your contract.
