IAS Open House

Find out how you can interact with the IAS to bring International Fellows to Loughborough, to initiate new collaborations or develop existing ones across a range of Opportunities and Programmes.

​Come along to International House at any point during the day to meet the IAS team, previous Annual Theme Leads and Hosts of IAS Fellows, as well as the newly appointed IAS Academic Advisory Board, to ask any questions.

The Open House will also be an opportunity to bid farewell to the current Director of the IAS, Professor Marsha Meskimmon, who is retiring from the University at the end of January 2024.

We will also welcome our new Director, Professor Ksenia Chmutina, who has just been appointed to the role. More details on the appointment can be found here on our News item.

Activities throughout the day -

10:30 – 11:00 = Introduction to the IAS / Meet The Team / Q&A

12:00 = Lunch

12:30 – 1:00 = Opportunities / Programmes / Working with the IAS

2:00 = Talk from outgoing Director Marsha Meskimmon

2:30 - 3:30 = Doors remain open until 3:30 with refreshments available

All are welcome, refreshments available throughout.

To give us an idea of numbers for catering, please select tickets based on the time slots you would roughly like to come along to. You can choose tickets for multiple time slots, and can join us all day if you wish!
