On Friday 3rd March we will be hosting an IAS Friends and Fellows Coffee Morning, where we will be joined by our IAS Residential Fellow Dr Vikash Vashisith and IAS Visiting Fellow Professor Anna Growe.

Professor Anna Growe, Kassel University, Faculty for Architecture, Spatial Planning and Landscape Planning, Department of Urban Development

Anna Growe is Professor of Economics of Urban and Regional Development at the University of Kassel. After studying spatial planning, she completed her doctorate at the TU Dortmund. As a postdoc, she worked at the University of Freiburg, where she also habilitated in 2019. Anna was a junior professor at the University of Heidelberg from 2015 to 2022. From October 2022 to February 2023, she was a Privatdozent at the Institute of Environmental Social Sciences and Geography at the University of Freiburg.

Dr Vikash Vashisth, Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati

Dr Vikash is a PhD in Chemical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee, India and he is currently working as Research Associate at Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati, India. Dr Vikash research interests are advanced manufacturing through high shear dispersion processes, computational fluid dynamics, dispersion of micro/nano-particles in liquids and single and multiphase modelling.
