Please feel free to book using the button below, to come along and join us for an informal in-person gathering at International House with coffee and cakes to meet our Fellows.

Professor E. Glenn Dutcher, Ohio University

Professor Glenn Dutcher is an applied microeconomist, primarily employing surveys, and field and laboratory experiments to understand issues surrounding workplace outcomes through traditional and behavioural economics. This research has explored the incentive mechanisms affecting productivity, the behavioural determinants of output decisions, interactions of ability within a given setting, ability formation, and how technological change affects output.

Heather Adair-Rohani, World Health Organisation

Ms. Heather Adair-Rohani leads the work on energy and health at the World Health Organization Headquarters. She has led the establishment of the Health and Energy Platform of Action, and the High-level Coalition on Health and Energy.

Professor Timothy D Mickleborough, Indiana University

Professor Mickleborough's main research focus is integrative (whole-body) human exercise physiology; in particular the interactions between the respiratory and cardiovascular systems in health and disease, with emphasis on intervention studies in healthy trained/untrained individuals, the pathophysiology of respiratory disorders in athletes such as asthma and expiratory flow limitation, and the potential cardiorespiratory limitations to exercise tolerance and performance.

Professor William Bahnfleth, Penn State

William P. Bahnfleth, Ph.D., P.E., Fellow/Presidential Member ASHRAE, is a professor in the Department of Architectural Engineering at The Pennsylvania State University—University Park, PA. He holds a doctorate in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois and is a registered professional engineer. He is a Fellow of ASHRAE, the American Society of Mechanical Engineers, and the International Society for Indoor Air Quality and Climate.

Professor Bill Sheel, University of British Columbia

The mammalian respiratory and cardiovascular systems are inseparably integrated such that manipulation of one system has consequences for the other. Professor Sheel's program seeks to further our understanding of this fundamental biological relationship. The long-term objective of my research program is to understand how the human respiratory and cardiovascular systems interact, respond and adapt to physiological stressors such as exercise or hypoxia.

Dr Hannah Holscher, University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign

Dr. Hannah Holscher is an associate professor of nutrition in the Department of Food Science and Human Nutrition, and a member of the Division of Nutritional Sciences, the Institute of Genomic Biology, and the National Center for Supercomputing Applications at the University of Illinois, where she has been a faculty member since 2015.
