Ian Hodgkinson, Associate Director (Strategy) of the CSM, has recently been appointed as Panel Chair for the Journal of Service Management (JOSM), which is one of the leading service journals. In his role as Panel Chair, Ian will be supported by 6-10 expert panel members which he nominates. Panel chairs are associate editors with a special focus on an area of expertise, which in Ian’s case is public services.

The primary role of the panel is to promote and attract cutting-edge research within the field for publication in JOSM. The panel will also be involved with the review of manuscripts that are submitted to JOSM within their expert area.

Professor Thorsten Gruber, Co-Director of CSM, commented on Ian’s appointment:
