We want everyone to be able to enjoy the music rooms. Therefore, we ask all users to observe the following when using the rooms.

• No food or drink is to be consumed in the rooms.
• Ensure the room is tidy before you leave.
• On occasion, a music rooms may be used for music tuition organised through LU Arts. You must vacate the room if asked to do so by a tutor. A list of regular tuition times is posted on the doors of the two rooms this usually applies to. 
• Before and after playing the piano, please use the hand sanitiser provided.
• Do not attempt to move the piano, or remove any other equipment or furniture from the rooms.
• Please ensure the windows are closed before you leave. 
• If you adjust the radiator thermostat, please return it to its original position before leaving. 
• No amplified instruments or drum kits are to be played in the music rooms (except electronic drum kits with headphones).
• Please keep the use of louder instruments (e.g. brass) to after 6pm on weekdays during term time. 
• Until 6pm on weekdays, the nearest toilets are across the courtyard to the right in Martin Hall. Male and gender-neutral/accessible toilers are on the ground floor corridor. Female toilets are in the foyer. After 6pm and at weekends, there is no access to nearby toilets.

Users found to be in breach of the above, or who are otherwise found to be contravening the spirit in which these rooms are provided may be denied future access.
