Tom joined the laboratory team in March 2023 and will primarily be operating and providing support with the department’s analytical instruments, method development and sample preparation. His BSc was in Environmental Science, and he has 7 years’ experience from Middlesex and Oxford Brookes universities in Environmental Chemistry technical roles. Prior to joining Loughborough, he studied an MSc in Viticulture & Oenology whilst spending 5 years working a variety of roles in the Wine Industries of the UK, Portugal, Germany and New Zealand.
