Jane is the Challenge Fund Manager for the Modern Energy Cooking Services (MECS) programme, a £39.8 million UK Aid funded research programme which aims to rapidly accelerate the transition from cooking using biomass to modern energy cooking services on a global scale. She manages a portfolio of Challenge Fund projects addressing a range of research questions across 17 developing countries.

Jane is also the Project Manager for UKPACT’s programme for the Kenyan Ministry of Energy, the Kenyan National Clean Cooking Strategy, which brings together a number of stakeholders to enable universal access to clean cooking by 2028.
